Application & Functionality
With the SH ARC-USB adapter all computers can now be linked to the ARCNET bus via a USB interface. SH ARC-USB is a device meeting the USB Standards 1.1 and 2.0. The adapter is housed in a solid metal casing. The SH ARC-USB is available with various ARCNET interfaces (see order information).
The SH ARC-USB features an FPGA-based ARCNET IP-CORE that is completely compatible with ARCNET standards.
The SH ARC-USB can be used immediately with any other SH product via standardized driver interfaces (RAW-driver). NDIS (TCP/IP) is at present not supported.
